OUR STORY

Shaun Kunimura grew up in Kaneohe and went to Castle High School. He studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa for two years, before transferring to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He received his bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science in 2001. He then pursued his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2005.

He returned to Hawaii to practice physical therapy. After 11 years of experience and knowledge, he decided to build his own practice. Island Physio LLC was founded in 2014 with a promise to provide the best physical therapy services possible and to give back to the Windward community. He has over 18 years working as a physical therapist.
